This is not a court of law and I phrased my subject as a question. I am getting very poor performance in a key requirement I have for my connection. If someone wanted to suggest a test to help diagnose the issue, that is one thing, but to just generally require unspecific "proof" before I can bring up a very real problem I have is unhelpful.

Usually I do not need to open the suggested ports since blizzard added a fake peer that will send data to clients even if they have not opened their pinholes. In this case, due to slow performance with the fake peer, I did configure my windows firewall and setup my pinholes to forward to my computer. This changed me from 1 slow connection to many slow peer connections.

Sorry for the reply You do realize the Blizzard Downloader throttles each of the p2p connections right? So bandwidth can be shared by all those who are downloading.

When I check connection info on the downloader - I get anywhere from 50kbpskbps download total- depending on how many users are being used. I do notice my upload is anywhere from kbps my upload is 1 meg - I know that number is divided to allow more users to download from me. Blizzard doesn't want to steal all the bandwidth from all the customers and give them a poor connection. Internet - If all your upload is being used - all of it - then the internet connection will be very very slow or just plain stall out.

So blizzard will not use everyone's total upload speed. They might use half of it then divide that number up so multiple players can make use of it. Hope that wasn't confusing. Not familiar with that torrent, but have you throttled your own upload back to make sure your upload on the DSL isn't getting saturated, hence your download speeds dropping??
